Amorous Danseur
was a very fun book to write. It is a reflection of my life in dance, but it is also a reflection of my Native American culture. That culture was in turn influenced by French and United Kingdom fur traders. Perhaps the reason this book is so special is it is much like sharing a fine meal in our family as so much was about music and dance.

Music and dance, I believe, is a gift God has given to help us through the rough times in life. It is a little bit of heaven right here and now for us to enjoy. How else can we explain the euphoria we get when we are wrapped up in a particular song or dance movement?

This book, however, is not only about dance but about an attendant element, which is romance. You will find these types of poems interspersed throughout the dance poems.
