ABOUT THE AUTHOR Now sixty-seven, Gwen Morris-Vaughan accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She began writing poetry in her thirties. Through her poetry, Gwen would like to show senior citizens that only what they do for Christ will last. Witnessing the power of the Holy Spirit through surgeries, automobile accidents, and God’s Healings, writing poetry became a gift she knows came from God; a gift that enhanced her growth as a Sunday school teacher of thirteen years. A retired math paraprofessional, Gwen enjoys bowling with her grandchildren, cooking, pinochle, caring for plants, chauffeuring, and aerobics.
