ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sergey N. Selivanovskiy was born in Izhevsk, Russia, on October 19, 1937. He graduated from the Izhevsk Mechanical Institute (now Technical University), specializing in electronic equipment design and technology. For many years, he was working at research institutes, combining his research work with teaching at the university. His hobby is English, and he is an author of some English textbooks for students. At present, Sergey N. Selivanovskiy works as an assistant professor at the Izhevsk State Technical University. He lives in Izhevsk; he is married and has a son and two daughters.
