Cleveland Prodigy
by Flavia Zappa

Cleveland Prodigy is perhaps the only children's book about an Italian-American child prodigy set in Cleveland. With this story the author hopes to interest children in classical music - specifically introducing them to the audition process, the Italian culture, family life, and Cleveland. This story also teaches children an important lesson about life.

About the Author

Flavia Zappa has earned music degrees from Northwestern University and the University of Minnesota and school psychology degrees from the College of William and Mary and Florida State University. She is a classical violinist and has played with the Sarasota Orchestra.

Flavia is also an avid athlete. She has competed in the FKCC Swim Around Key West, Tampa Bay Marathon Swim, Sarasota Marathon, and St. Anthony's Triathlon. A native Clevelander, she is a graduate of Gesu and Beaumont Schools.
