by Ronald D. Main
Life confronts each human being with different battles as part of our existence in this world. Contents Under Pressure begins at the Mayo Clinic where a diagnosis of incurable cancer presents the reality of death at age fifty-five. From a poverty-stricken youth, Ronald D. Main takes us through his formative years, where his "never quit" philosophy was learned, and into his adult years as he attends college, marries his soul mate, and begins his career as a teacher and school principal.
The fight for survival starts with a bone marrow transplant and continues through years of constant battles of recovery and containment of the disease. The importance of family and friends takes on new meaning, and redefined "realities" create life-altering experiences.
This true story of one man's battle serves as a beacon of hope and a testimonial to the importance of a positive attitude in all we do.
