This is a story about two friends, a little bear and a kitty cat, taking a walk through the woods with a sack of marbles. They don't know the sack has a hole in it. They lose their marbles but find them later.
About the AuthorI, Carolyn Davis, was born June 26, 1945, to the late Robert Lee and Sarah Elizabeth Peterson in Emerson, NC. I attended Booker T. Washington High School in Clarkton, NC, which I graduated from in 1964. While at Booker T. High, I met William Davis. We dated until we both graduated together. He later moved to New York City, and I went to Bladen Community College and took up the trade to become a certified nursing assistant. After I completed my trade, I began working at the Elizabethtown Nursing Center for many years.
William moved back to Lisbon, NC. We began to date again and shortly after, we got married in 1984. We had a wonderful life together until an accident took his life in 1991. After losing the love of my life, I discovered writing as a hobby. That gave me the idea for writing this manuscript. I still work as a CNA, but in my spare time, I love to read and write.
