DAYPOEMS is a collection of poems that play with the significance of the days of the week as celebrated by ancient civilizations. They are organized around the structure of the week and seven different weeks are recognized, hence forty-nine poems.
About the AuthorEugene Combs received his B.A. from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas; his M. Th from Union Theological Seminary in New York; and his Ph. D from Columbia University in New York. He has published two novels, two books on running, and one book on human ordering, including Modernity and Responsibility. Dr. Combs is a professor emeritus of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
