by Maggie McClam
The verses in this collection are an outpouring from the heart. Love, life, nature, and religion are all old themes, yet the poet finds a way to create them anew.
To see a flock of redbreasts in early spring or the dogwood being undressed by the fall blasts, or to hear the winds sigh around the eaves on cold short days are things for the poet to glory about. While religion holds the key, love is universal. Nature is forever changing. And death…the final Estate for all.
