ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jody-Lynn Reicher is a nationally certified massage therapist and is certified in Active Release Technique. She has her own practice in northern New Jersey. Jody-Lynn has been a long-distance runner since 1976. She presently trains and competes as an ultra-runner. Jody-Lynn has competed in over seventy marathons and ultra-marathons, not to mention hundreds of races under the marathon distance. She also is a Badwater Ultra-marathon Veteran. Jody-Lynn currently holds the Women’s North American Twenty-four-Hour Treadmill Record. She is currently ranked second in the world for the Women’s Twenty-four-Hour Treadmill Record. She started a charitable venue, www.ultrasforcharity.com, in 2004. Jody-Lynn served in the U.S. Marines in the early 1980’s. She is presently married and a working mother of two young children.
