by Raquel Zepeda Fitzgerald

Initially, Moriah’s reason for working for the rude and obnoxious Jim Patton was simple—money. As of New Year’s Eve 1986, she had developed a particular obsession. Moriah’s newfound desire was revenge—a force that surged a blazing energy through her veins that only her little yellow pills could calm.

As the bodies started piling up shortly after Jim Patton was found murdered with that mysterious emblem of an Egyptian eye painted on his forehead in his own blood, Lieutenant Mendoza understood the power of revenge. Not since the Zodiac murders had San Francisco felt so vulnerable.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

A native of El Paso, Texas, who resided in California, Raquel Zepeda Fitzgerald now makes her home in Florida, where she is the CEO of a small-cap company, designs products (www.xynergy.com, www.dementeddiagnosis.com, www.raquelofbeverlyhills.com), and sings (www.cdbaby.com/cd/raquel). This is her first novel.

Since most of the products that Ms. Zepeda Fitzgerald designed belong to the company she founded and its shareholders, she is using the Spanish version of her name. Ms. Zepeda Fitzgerald considers this pen name her "entity of independence," separating it from her other business endeavors.
