by P. Kim Rempel

In From a Cocoon to a Butterfly, P. Kim Rempel tells a tale of one person’s perseverance and the capriciousness that make up this thing we call life.

Megan is growing up in a family too large to notice her, or so she thought. She always feels like the black sheep of the family, and carrying the weight of the world seemed her destiny. Her life’s ambition is modest: to get married and have children. But as the trials and tribulations she faces change the whole course of her life, she matures from troubled teen to mixed up young woman, and her life takes a few twists and turns along the way.

What will it take for Megan to become a beautiful butterfly? The answers may surprise you.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Born the third child in a modestly large family, P. Kim Rempel grew up in Canada’s cold Northern Yukon Territories, in the wilderness and beauty of an undiscovered region, but she has opted for warmer climates and now resides in Vancouver, British Columbia. While becoming an adult, she bordered on being an overachieving perfectionist, a woman not afraid to venture outside of the box and explore the many experiences along the way.

She has no formal education in writing, but she loves to write short stories and poetry. Her tender and heartfelt poems have been published several times.

Ms. Rempel is the mother of two children who live too far away from home for her liking. Bettering their lives is as important to her as her own life.
