by Joe Ragsdale
James Ryan had it all: a wife, a son, and was a serious contender for the All Around Cowboy Championship. He had it just about all wrapped up when a terrible accident took his life.
James Ryan Jr. went back east to live with his mother, never to know anything about his father—anything, that is, until he traveled west through Oklahoma and through his father’s old stomping grounds. James learns the ropes from the bottom up through his father’s old traveling partner. The ups and downs of the rodeo are only a part of what James has to learn to Get It Done.
