Glorious Love

The quaint style with which our author has of writing Glorious Love shows off her creative use of wit, charm, and originality. These poems were inspired by Ramona's easygoing relationships with creatures of nature, her lifelong experiences, and people within her environment. They have and are creating indelible memories. Each poem is unique because it has a story and a voice all its own!

Deliberately so, Glorious Love is dedicated to all readers who are willing to experience themselves and life's wonders in a poem. They have to appreciate rhyme time! Elementary, my dears!

As in Miss Bostic's "The Lost Teddy," "Beyond Looks," and "My Prince," to select a random few, you will be inundated with feelings. This little packet may be a critic's and a tutor's diamond in the rough!

Glorious Love is attributed to the many kinds of love that can be found inadvertently or overtly in most of these poems. It can be a love for a mother or a father, a love-hate feeling for a creature or a lover, and maybe-just maybe-one or the other for one's self. Let us not be like the bus and find out for ourselves. Deal?

Born on November 24, 1948, Ramona was raised to her early teens in Worcester, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of two doting parents, each of a different racial background. Growing up in the sixties, race could be an issue. Ramona's escape and enlightenment was school. English class and poetry were among her "favorite things"!

She has fond memories of an intellectually inspiring aunt who in her own right made a name for herself. Thanks to her aunt, Ramona was told she ought to write for children. Maybe-just maybe-that is what she is doing? What insight!

The author is committed to the United States Veterans Administration in Miami, Florida. There she is a participant with the Day Activities Center. She loves classic movies, music, trivia games, and dancing.
