After being in a loveless marriage for so long, I thought I would never find true love and happiness, especially after being disabled after breaking my back for a second time in 1999. I was introduced to the most wonderful woman you could wish to meet-the most kind, caring, and loving woman in the world (in my opinion). Our meeting was by accident but from the moment I saw her, I knew she was special. I want to thank Julie for helping me learn to love again. This book is about my feelings through our sometimes rocky relationship.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Born in Oxford in 1967, Gary travelled through the UK in the armed forces. Suffering a broken back, leg, and neck in a serious road traffic accident in 1992 left him fighting to get his life back. His marriage ended a few years later. Disillusioned and feeling as though he would never feel true love again, he met Julie through a friend on the Internet. Slowly and surely, he learned not only how to love again but how to be loved. He lives in the west midlands with his true love. They plan to marry in 2006.
