Life of an Outcast
by Taryn Sullivan

One of the oldest and most popular forms of expression is poetry. The oldest belief is poetry has rules; only certain subjects can be used when writing poetry. Within the pages of this book are found writings that prove this rule a myth.

Among these poems you'll find a tribute poem to Michael Jackson and another for Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, a young drummer from the band Avenged Sevenfold who was taken from the rock star world far too soon. His bandmates were also graced with poetry and a short story. Other short stories can be found as well.

About the Author

Taryn Sullivan currently lives in the state of Washington, working to perfect her skills as a photographer. A victim of the arts, her other skills include dancing and painting, as well as music/composing. When asked about her influences, she states not just Edgar Allan Poe but e.e. cummings as well, since he had a non-hesitant attitude, the same kind of attitude that shows in many of Taryn's works.
