by Alda (Underwood) Updegrove
My book of poetry started in 1970. As I traveled, speaking and singing for groups of women, churches, and clubs, words began to come to me in poetry form. I often stopped for coffee and would jot it down.
My Heart Has Spoken expresses the feelings and awe of the world in which we live. Nature is such a beautiful thing, and this book is a small expression of it all. I really enjoy life, as this book expresses.
