by Kenneth W. Curry

Kenneth W. Curry is a native of Danville, Virginia. He started writing poems as a young boy.

The poems in this book depict his life, his loves, his losses, his family, and his friends. This is just the beginning of many he has written though the years. These poems reflect his feelings and thoughts on the Vietnam War, of which he was a part, and of his life for the last twenty years, which has been spent in a wheelchair due to a terrible car accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Before that, he worked as a general contractor. The poems also reflect on the many times he has spent in Veterans hospitals and as recently as three years ago, he went though the trauma of losing a leg. These events have had a big impact on his life. The poems are his way of releasing frustration. They tell of his loneliness and of the faith, although wavering at times, that he has always had in the Lord.

Some of the poems may not be to the liking of some. Others will read and be able to see the man behind the words.
