Mystery Valley

My book is of a fictional nature, although the contents are that of day-to-day happenings. My aim is to awaken the sleepy minds of some individuals who find it necessary to let children run amuck and not care where they are from minute to minute.

Mystery Valley could be your neighborhood. It simply portrays what really could and does happen in many small towns and cities. It is to open the eyes of especially mothers who are at home during the day and find it a necessity to be on the telephone instead of watching the children while the children are at play.

I think parts of my book should be read to or by children to help make them aware of the real dangers. As a child I was taught that you had to earn trust. If you don't know a person, you don't readily trust. That is what the gist of my book tells.

I was born in Tazewell, VA. I am of Indian descent. My ancestors are from American Indian Tribes. My people are from the Cherokee and Blackfoot nations. My family came here when I was but a small one. I am very proud of my heritage.

I am from a large family of thirteen. I have done quite a bit in my lifetime. I have a background of many faces. For instance, I have been a supervisor, a teacher, a model, and an administrative assistant. But, I had to go back to my favorite passion, writing.

I have been writing since I was about twelve years of age. I love to write about the places I have been and people of interest. This book is my second book, but I do have other works in progress.
