About the AuthorAdele was born in Beacon, New York, in 1924, and moved to Hawthorne, New Jersey, at the age of two, where she still resides in her home on the side of the mountain. She holds a master's degree in reading and is the mother of a daughter, Debbie, and a son, Frank. Adele has been a widow since 1989.
