Jeanne Brohl has earned degrees in Political Science, History, Business Administration, and Marketing Research. In addition, she has done graduate work in Adult Education. Jeanne recently retired from being a civil servant. Now she has time to devote to her hobbies, one of which is poetry. Others are travel, cooking, and computers.
Having five children and thirteen grandchildren gives her a glowing outlook on life. Jeanne also has many international friends. She has been a host family to professionals from Africa, Europe, South America, and Asia, and she keeps up close ties with her "adopted families." She recently visited her "family" in Ethiopia, where she confirmed the bonds of peace, love, and friendship, which are prevalent in the international communities.
Jeanne is a member of the International Society of Poets and has received an Outstanding Achievement in Poetry Award from them. Hope and the fulfillment of Peace are two threads which are evident in her poetry.
