by Willie Davis Fleishacker
Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. I know there are others who would appreciate learning how I dealt with the day-to-day healing of my leukemia; how I emotionally handled this terrifying diagnosis and disease; what others might expect to experience; what may help and what may not; and basically, how to survive.
I went to the largest bookstore in my area and requested their assistance in finding a book specific to blood cancers or AML survivors. I was searching for an emphasis on emotional and family concerns. All that was found through an international search was medical and clinical information. Thus, I was destined to writing this book of my story.
