Poems of the Heart

The title speaks for itself because that’s from where each poem came—the heart. This book is a collection of different poems that range from fun to encouraging or from personal experiences I myself have experienced in my lifetime. Other people inspired many of my poems or they were given to me directly from the Father above. The one thing I would like the reader to grasp from the poems is to be encouraged. I want to let people know to follow their dreams no matter what life has to offer—reach for the stars. Be encouraged. — L. Anderson
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I am a native of Hempstead, New York, but I currently live in Holly Hill, South Carolina. I am currently in school pursuing a nursing degree. I am a single mom. My daughter, Saniah, is my pride and joy. She’s my greatest inspiration. Writing is something I enjoy to do; it’s the way I express myself. My hobbies include spending time with my daughter, watching movies, and reading and writing poetry.
