Poetry That Speaks To The Heart is a book of twenty-five poems about issues of today. My hope is that these poems will reach out to those who are in need of encouragement on these issues and inspire them to think positively about them. There are five poems for each issue: abortion, drugs, suicide, terrorism, and prayer. These poems were given to me by the Leading of the Holy Spirit, and I know someone will be helped and lives will be changed by reading these poems. I give God all the praise and all the honor.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
David Houston Sr. was born in a little town in Florida called Hernando. He is also a pastor of two small churches in Florida. He always had a love for poetry and has written many poems but never had any published in a book. He is married with four children. He is also a dedicated Christian and loves everybody. He hopes this book will help somebody find the right path in life.
