by Echo "Squeeky" Borton
This book is about random things I decided to write poems about. Every single one of these poems is based on some sort of emotion that I was feeling at the time. No poem is alike, just like no person is alike (usually); each and every one of these poems is like a friend to me. They are all branches of my inner soul. Also, I would like to dedicate this book to my most best friend in the whole world, Anna, and to my big sister, Ashley. They have totally supported me as I grew through the strong up and down emotions of a teenage girl, moving away from friends and the only home I knew, starting over in a new life involving them.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I am currently living in a small town called Westfir, Oregon. I play the sports of volleyball and softball; in softball, I am the pitcher. My most best friend in the whole world is Anna, and without her, I don't know if I could've completed this book. I am currently seventeen years old, having written most of these poems over approximately the last five years while going through a very tough time in my life. I spend most of my free time writing, since that is my greatest passion. I express myself through writing and in poetry, which is why most of these poems are entirely in a random order. Special thanks to my big sister, Ashley; you're the best!
