Reflections

In reviewing the vows I made over fifty years ago to love, protect, comfort, and defend my wife as her mate for eternity, I continue to cherish and appreciate her, as I did so long ago, for her spirit, caring nature, and love. The unqualified love she used in nuturing and guiding our children has been and still is instrumental in their successful education, development, and maturation. Since we first met, she has been a delight, bringing intelligence and a sense of humor to our family. She has also been an invaluable partner in our many family and community activities. She has been an inspiration in the creation of this book.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jay Sealark and his wife share over ten decades of experience and observation of the cultural life of families. Jay is an international cultural analyst in national intelligence and a former advisor concerning the education of gifted and talented children for the Board of Education in his county. He grew up in the suburbs of a major city and was raised in a multi-generational home. Jay’s wife grew up in a larger family which lived in a small rural community. He and his wife have always approached personal and family activities as a team, from their experience in families headed by parents of long-term marriages. They have seven siblings between the two of them.
