ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Lisa Brinkman has studied in both the United States and Europe. In high school, she was sent to Washington, D.C., to study the American government and traveled to Europe, where she studied German at the University of Salzburg. She played tennis and participated in Future Teachers of America. She attended Drury College, studied at the University of Albuquerque in New Mexico as well as St. Louis Community College at Meramec, and earned a B.A. in communication at the St. Louis University.
