Short Love Poems From People Who Touched Our Lives

I was guided to write short love poems on my experiences on how the love from people influenced our lives. I grew up without my biological parents and spent a short time with my siblings. I held on to the love we shared and the love my foster parents gave me. I never realized the difficult challenge we would all be faced with throughout our lives. I found this out when we were united later in life. The love we had gave us the strength needed throughout our lives.

As I experienced what children go through during my educational career with children, I saw the negative effect on children when love is absent from their lives, especially when it does not come from the people from whom it was expected. This can cause them to make poor choices in relationships in addition to having a negative impact on their ability to develop the life skills needed to survive in our changing society. These love poems can show us that if family did not do what was right, the love from others can become a positive life changing experience. In this way we can live a lifetime, by sharing our love with others.
