This collection of poems comes from the spirit and heart of a young woman born and raised in the heart of Washington, DC. The confusion of choices and the pain of love gone wrong pour through each verse, expressing straight emotions. Anger and resentment are expressed in a controlled manner, painting a picture so vividly of past hurts.
