The Silent Voice of an Eagle
by James Owen Robison
The Silent Voice of an Eagle is a collection of writing from the time I was fifteen years old. I hope this will inspire others to write, think, meditate, and enjoy. Of all the misfortunes I have had, I would consider writing poetry one way to endure the hardships of this life and place our tribulations in the hand of God, who directs our human paths.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall; but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. — Isaiah 40:30-31 KJV
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I was born and raised in Kansas and am now living in California. I enjoy writing poetry, especially when my world seems unpleasant and challenging. I hope these poems will help others as a spiritual lift, as writing them has helped me.
