Slow Rabbit was originally written to satisfy the needs of its author to create a cinematic treatise before approaching the screenplay format.
This “screenpoem” was first written as fifty poems that chronicled a poet, his muse, and their battle in “the Artistic Void.”
Initially composed in 2004 between service in Afghanistan and Iraq, Slow Rabbit became the author's allegorical review of and expectant vision of his own leadership and its unquenchable desire and need for imagination.

Seth L. Lombardy is a husband, father, and Infantry Noncommissioned Officer in the United States Army with former service as a U.S. Marine and combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. Slow Rabbit is his first published work.
