A very trying time gave birth to Sally Anguiano’s storytelling. Waiting alongside her sick daughter’s hospital bed, she imagined a fun little town. From this came the desire to create the kind of children’s stories of yesteryear with their colorful themes and timeless moral lessons that will remain as fond memories for young ones even after trying times are replaced with happier days. Sally’s crisis passed, and the story sat quietly in a box, waiting for a less trying bustle of life. Later it was discovered and added to Plum Tree Valley’s whimsical characters and classic story series.
