Wasting Calvin's Time

by Paula E. Licciardi

Do you seem to waste your time with the simple everyday responsibilities of life when you would rather be watching cartoons or playing with your favorite toy? Well, that’s how Calvin felt.

One weekend Calvin makes a deal with his Mom that he would have no responsibilities and only do what he wanted over the entire weekend. The time begins with a family trip to his grandmother’s house. Calvin learns some valuable lessons about how friends treat each other, what can be lost, and how much he needs his mom when he doesn’t take care of his responsibilities.
