With Love for My Father

The following short stories/prose reflect the author’s everyday life over a period of time in his adult life. There is some reality mixed with dreams and fantasies. It is a compilation of dreams, relationships, personal feelings, and love.
This work is dedicated primarily to my father, who recently passed away, in 2007, with whom a special bond and loving relationship was formed and will always be remembered.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Calvin Brown is young African-American man who is dedicated to family and his Church, which he faithfully attends. Writing is his passion in his spare time, and this prose reflects simple but thoughtful words pertaining to his life. Some are fiction, but most are not. These writings were done as he struggled with the murder of his only brother more than ten years ago and the recent passing of his father after a long illness. Writing became a release to take his mind off of these aforementioned tragedies. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
