Words on Paper: A Collection of Thoughts and Poems
by Shirley Johnson
If you want to read a book that will be light and easy reading, then this will be one you will like reading. It's a combination of some serious and some silly thoughts and ideas. It comes from the author's own everyday experience and if by chance it gets you to thinking then it will have been worthwhile.
About the Author
Shirley Johnson was born and raised in Fremont, Michigan. While in high school she had an English teacher who made writing and poetry interesting and Johnson was hooked.
After graduation life got in the way. Raising her son and all the other duties of being a wife and mother took priority. It wasn't until September 2010, after Johnson lost her husband to cancer, that she started writing again. It was for her own enjoyment, but other friends told Johnson that she should get her work published.
Johnson enjoys writing as well as gardening, knitting and playing Bingo.
